The Winter Blues

So...let me just start off saying that if it weren't for Christmas-I would hate winter. We have all been sick with strep, with the exception of Corey and he is on his way there. I have been to the Dr.'s office 4 times in the past 2 weeks and 1 of those times was an appt. for both girls. YIKES!!! They should just reserve us a room there. After several viruses, a UTI, and Strep---all I can say is that it has to get better from here. We just can't be sick over Christmas.
Speaking of that--I can't wait! I have totally gone overboard (well I guess that depends on your definition). Santa is being really nice to the girls this year and they are at such a fun age that I cannot wait to see the magic in their eyes when they get up Christmas morning!

Addie's First Piggytails

Well, it might be a mullet when it is down, but boy does it make cute piggytails when pulled up. She is not feeling well-actually all 3 of girls have strep-nor is she happy that I am following her around with the camera. I wanted the pics.....so I was persistent. Aren't they cute?!?

Halloween 2008

Yeah.....so......I check my friends blogs all of the time, but am not very good at updating mine! Guess it has been awhile. Well, here are the Halloween pics from this year. Emma was a bride one night and then a ballerina. Ads was-you guessed it-a chicken!!!

Kindergarten-Here I am!

Ems First Day of School

Well, my little Ems started school today! She was very excited and did very well when we had to leave. It was so hard to walk away and know that someone else was going to be teaching her. She has 25 kids in her class which is soooo crazy! Hope she likes it. There are a few pics of her at school. I wanted to dress her up for the first day, but Monday is PE day so we went with something practical. I, of course, thinks she looks cute in the bermuda shorts as well.

Going on 2 Wheels!!!

Emma has learned to ride her bike without the training wheels! We decided to take them off at the beginning of the week and we practiced with her a few times during the week and by weeks end she had it mastered. She can take off on her own and stop on her own, which is hard for those little ones. Yeah-Emma-we are sooooo proud!

Father Daughter Banquet

Corey and Emma went to a Father Daughter Dinner at our church this past weekend. Emma got some much needed one on one time with her daddy!

5th of July

We went to Darren's for a 5th of July bash! We took the 4-wheeler out and took the girls down to the river, followed by a BBQ and fireworks of course. They had a blast!!! I didn't get many pics because the camera died and I didn't have the charger.

The Girls B-Day Parties!!!

Ok...so...I am a little behind on the blog. Life has been really hectic in the Tracy household. Addie turned 1 on May 11 and Emma turned 5 on June 24th, which was right when Corey and I returned home from Las Vegas. We had a BBQ at home with our family and close friends for Addie's b-day and Emma had a Topsy Turvey B-Day where everything was upside-down and backwards. We still haven't slowed down and doubt we will all Summer.

Easter-"I've always been wanting this"

Emma was so excited for the Easter Bunny to bring her a basket full of goodies. When she woke up on Sunday morning, she asked if we thought the bunny had come and we told her to go look. She was so surprised! She looks at the toys and basket and says, "I've always been wanting this!" She was so amazed that the the bunny knew just what she wanted. She even fell for us telling her the the bunny wouldn't hide the eggs until we were gone to church. Kids are so innocent and cute! Addie really couldn't have cared less, but none the less she had a great first Easter! We all did! It was a full day filled with family. You can't ask for anything more.

Spring is Near

With anticipation of Spring being just around the corner, we had to whip out the spring attire and I thought it was too cute to not share!

SNOW much fun!!!

Well, here is our fun day in the snow! Corey had just gotten a 4-wheeler and he pulled Emma in circles around the empty lots beside us and she had a blast. I asked her if I could have a turn riding in the tube and she said no b/c it was too much fun!

Valentine's Day

I am posting a few pics of the Valentine Girls! Emma and I made her first Valentine box for preschool and made Valentine's for all her friends there. Addie could have cared less about the day, but by-golly they look cute in their matching outfits!

Teeth Finally!!!

We have a little late bloomer! Addie finally got 2 bottom teeth, but no such luck on any more. That is fine with me. She has figured out how to use them to her advantage-she puts stuff in her mouth and scrapes it against her teeth. Smart cookie!

Addie 8 1/2 mns.

Addie is now nearing the 9 mn. mark and still has NO teeth!!! She has acted like she was getting them for mns. now, but no such luck. Addie is pulling up on everything and is into everything!

6 inches shorter!

Emma just got her first real haircut-I mean one that actually had something to show for when we were done. She had 6 inches cut off! She looks like such a big girl!

My How the Girls are Growing!

I just can't believe how time flies! Addie has finally figured out "forward" when she is crawling. It is so weird that she started out in "reverse." So now we have a little follower tagging along through the house. She is wanting to pull up on everything too, but still not steady to do this herself. Guess we better start baby proofing! We didn't have to do much of that with Emma, but I think Addie is gonna give us a run for our money!
