Almost a Year Later...

Well, I have made it almost a year without blogging. I visit many blogs daily, but it kind of bores me to update my own. Lots of changes since last year this time--Addie turned 3, Emma turned 7 and started 2nd grade at a new school, which means we moved...phew! We spent this last summer remodeling Corey's grandparent's home and moving in. What a project, one that isn't complete!

I'm Back...

This is my little Addiecakes! I have been gone from the blog for so long, that I am putting the pics up first--that is what people want to see anyway--am I right??? Addie is quite the little ham for the camera--can you tell? Oh and these pics are in complete random order--just some I have since the last post.

Emma and I out with our best buds for a girls movie night! Hannah Montana was the pick-duh!

Madam Butterfly with that look of "Are we going trick-or-treating or what MOM!!!"

Raggedy Anne steals the show!

Fall Chickies!

Ran a 5K on Halloween with a friend from work!

Yeah-yeah Shannon--I know! I stink at updating my blog. Funny, because I follow blogs all of time, but never get on my own. Doubtful that I have too many followers, so I guess that is my lack of motivation. I spend more time trying to promote my other blog--www.jetbags.blogspot.com.
The girls are growing ever so rapidly! Emma is turning into a little crafter like her momma and Addie is copycatting everything that Emma does.
Corey is still working his life away and I am still working part-time at the hospital, part-time with the bag and bow business, full-time with mommyhood, grocery shopping, cleaning house, paying bills, running errands.....well, you get the picture!
I have stumbled onto some great blogs lately and am learning lots of neat fact about people, recipes, home decor, parenting, blah, blah, blah.
Well, that's all for now!
Be back later.

A few more pics of Emma

We took these last night before going to see the Hannnah Montana movie. It was Emma's very first theater experience ever. She was totally into the snack bar-go figure.

The 3rd of July

We were getting ready to go to Darren's house for a July 3rd Bash and thought we would do some fun posing.

10 yrs. and counting...

Here is a pic of Corey and I going out for our 10 yr. anniversary. What do you expect...the photog was only 6!

123456-Emma is 6!

A little pre-party posing!

The girls-yep mine is the tallest!
Waiting patiently to dig into the cupcakes!

The babe showing of those sweet cheeks and the bink-oh how we love the bink. Gonna have to get rid of that sometime I suppose.

Hanging in the pool!

Check Out These Growing Weeds

My little Addie Cakes!!!

Here is my little grown-up Emma! She is growing right before my eyes. I had to get out baby pics the other day just o see how much she had changed. It brought tears to my eyes...before I know it she will be walking down the aisle getting married-argghhh! She sure is developing into a lovely young lady!

Because I'm feeling a little guilty...

Yesterday, I definitely did not have grandma keep the girls so I could go shopping for Emma's b-day and while out shop for myself-nope not me. Upon returning home, I did not read through tons of blogs just out of curiosity and then drop the girls off with different grandparents so I could have so MORE peace and quiet (well actually my parents wanted to take Emma to pick out a new fish for a pet). I did NOT go to town and pick up Sushi AND Chinese as well as a movie to enjoy alone and I also did not put the girls to bed when they got home so that I could invite a friend over to scrapbook! I am totally not that kind of mom that needs a break from my most adorable girls and to top that off I am not the kind of mom that is writing this while one of them is so badly wanting my attention. I am definitely not ready for their dad to be home after being gone for the whole week either. NOPE-NOT ME!

National Kids Fishing Day

We took the girls to Roaring River for National Kids Fishing Day. I was very reluctant to go b/c I hadn't been feling well, we had just finished up Addie's b-day party, and it was on a whim and you all know how I like to plan things, but.....we did anyway and the girls had a blast. Emma didn't catch any fish, but she got in a lot of practice. That is all that counts I suppose!

Just for Fun

Just a close-up of the beautiful green eyes!
Addie enjoying some of her poppy's Little Debbie powdered sugar donuts! That girl was going to town. Of course, who doesn't love donuts!?!
